While Behind The Ear (BTE) aids sit behind your ear with a connecting tube to your ear canal, ITE aids are custom-moulded to fit entirely within the bowl of your ear. This fundamental difference in design offers unique advantages for different hearing needs.
Both ITE and In The Canal (ITC) aids use custom-moulded designs, but differ in size. ITE aids fill your outer ear completely, while ITC aids are smaller and only partially visible, offering a more discreet option.
ITE aids house their processor within the main body that sits in your ear. Their larger faceplate accommodates dual microphones, improving your ability to locate sound sources. The device processes sound and delivers it directly into your ear canal, offering exceptional clarity.
